2. What we collect
Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, approximate location (country/city level), device and browser type, and how you arrived here. IP addresses are not logged by us and are not stored by Google Analytics 4.
Contact. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to share. We use it only to reply and handle your request or transaction.
Hosting. The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes IP addresses in server logs for security and delivery purposes as an independent provider.
3. Cookies and consent
We treat visitors differently depending on where they are, using the stricter standard where the law requires it:
United States and elsewhere: analytics runs by default and you can opt out at any time via the banner or the link below.

4. Legal bases (GDPR)
- Consent (art. 6(1)(a)) for analytics cookies in the EU/EEA/UK/CH.
- Legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f)) for handling correspondence you initiate, for site security, and for business-to-business outreach about domain names relevant to a company, always with a working opt-out.
- Contract (art. 6(1)(b)) when we process data to complete a domain transaction with you.
5. Outreach emails
We occasionally contact companies about a specific domain name that matches their business. These are individual, plain-text business messages, never bulk marketing. Every message includes our postal address and a working opt-out: reply STOP once and you will not hear from us again.
6. Retention
Analytics data is retained in Google Analytics for 14 months. Email correspondence is kept as long as needed for the matter at hand and for legal and tax obligations (in the Netherlands, generally 7 years for transaction records). Opt-out requests are kept indefinitely so we can honour them.
7. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with the processors needed to run the site and complete transactions: Google (analytics), Cloudflare (hosting and security), Google Workspace (email), and Escrow.com when you enter a transaction. Where data leaves the EEA, transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. Email hello@domaineerz.com and we will respond within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
If you are a resident of California or another US state with a privacy law: we do not sell or share personal information as defined by those laws, and you can exercise access and deletion rights via the same email address.
9. Changes
We may update this policy as the site evolves. The effective date above always reflects the current version.
